In this session, we will identify the key drivers for software asset management, outline the main challenges in adopting an effective SAM program and discuss some of the tools and features needed for top quality SAM implementation and adoption.

With a wide range of SAM tools and providers out there, what should an organisation look for in terms of approach, support and functionality?

Session 2: Building a Business Case for SAM

Getting support from the business to adopt SAM can be tricky. This session will outline all of benefits of SAM for your organisation, and provide some key messages to take to your senior management to ensure SAM is correctly supported, both financially and organisationally!

According to ITIL, lack of business support is the number 1 reason SAM projects fail to deliver on their objectives!
